Hello, Hermosa Beach!
I am seeking re-election as your City Councilmember and would welcome an opportunity to earn your vote.
Team Jackson-VanLandingham is a dedicated family of public servants. Rachel (an Air Force retiree and the family rock star), and I combine for over 50 years of military service, and in 2014, she began teaching at Southwestern Law School, where she’s influencing the next generation of critical legal thinkers.
I retired from the Army in 2015 and immediately immersed myself in our Hb community. Volunteering in our schools, coaching soccer, football, and basketball – and helping out where and when needed. I’m fortunate to have the time to do so much of what I love.
Public service defines who I am and has since 1980 when I enlisted in the U.S. Army. From Private Jackson to Colonel Jackson, from deployments to the Middle East to the halls of the Pentagon, getting stuff done right and done ethically is what I’ve lived.
